The ice maker no longer fills with water. The door delivers water, the crusher crushed bagged ice placed in bin, and the cube ice delivery system works with bagged ice as well. I replaced the dual control water valve and checked the fill pipe for any ice; there was none. After waiting for a number of hours to see whether the ice maker had to cycle itself to refill there is still no water. I'm curious if anyone has any other ideas or suggestions to fix this problem. The frig is in great shape and I really would like to keep it. Thanks for any help you can provide.

ANSWER Mike, Based on your post, your most likely issue is a failed sensor or switch in the ice maker control module, this would require a new ice maker assembly kit WR30X10093. You could disconnect the wires to the ice maker solenoid on the new fill valve, force the ice maker into a harvest mode, and check for 120 VAC across the wires when the ice maker reaches the fill increment of the cycle, with a multi meter.
