I replaced the water inlet valve last summer. I noticed the floor wet last night, it looks like the tube that inserts into the ice side of the solenoid cracked. so every time the ice cycles it would spray water. the question is a piece of tube that cracked off is still stuck in the solenoid. is there a way it can be removed safely without ruining the part or do I have to replace the part completely?
ANSWER Hello Terry. If it is stuck inside the valve, you will need to order and replace the water valve WR57X10051 on the unit.
