We recently replaced a broken icemaker with this one from your site (AP4345120 ). While the icemaker IS making ice, it is doing so at a very slow rate (2 batches a day AT MOST). It is definitely getting water, and the water freezes, but it seems that it takes a long time to harvest the ice. Sometimes, I will feel frozen ice in the maker, and if I push the feeler arm in, it will begin the harvest. Is there a reason it isn't harvesting on it's own? Starting to feel like I got a faulty icemaker.
ANSWER Hello Paul. You need to check and make sure the temp in the freezer is 0°. This is the reason for slow ice production.
