The panel lights up and it works, but when I press to start nothing happens...the cotten cylce it flashes back and forth 1HR/38minutes...is there a way to reset it..I did unplug it...help...thanks!

ANSWER Hi Julesbegin. The first thing to do is to access the rear of the control panel. Remove power. Remove control back and get the factory tech sheet supplied with the unit. In this it will tell you what the cotton cycle code is. It is suggested here to change the main control board part # WE4M296. Thank You.
