Hi. I have an oven part number above and the bottom element stays burning even after the power button has been pushed. I have been shutting it off at the breaker. I believe that one of the relays is stuck in and not releasing. Is this an accurate assumption and can I buy and just replace the relay or do I have to but the control board? Thanks in advance.
ANSWER Hi Matt. Yes if the relay will not shut off on command short of using the breaker then you need the electronic control part # WB27T10276. Use a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Test the oven sensor part # WB21X5301 for 1100 ohms. If it is shorted (0-ohms) or open infinity, then replace it. Thank You.
