Was given this part# for ge jrs04bow5bb and when instaling the ribbon circuit will not connect. Does not seem to fit in the female end.

ANSWER Hello Edwin,
There are 2 little clips at the end of the connector that you have to use to release the locking clip. Once this is done the ribbon harness should just slide in and push locking tab back down.
