I have problems with water flow from my refrigerator. Both the bypass plug and new filter just trickle water from the dispenser. When I installed the new filter, the first time I dispensed water, it had great flow. The next glass had less, and I tried switching to the bypass plug with no improvement.
I believe the small pin/switch in the filter - tube arm assy (pn WR17X12301) is jammed.
Would this cause a decrease in water flow? How do you remove the filter-tube arm assy?
ANSWER Hello Fred,
The filter and tube assembly WR17X12301 will need to be replaced as the plungers in the filter head have failed.
