I have a problem with my GE Monogram refrigerator(model #ZISS420DMAS, serial #HDO37555) that seems to be leaking from the water filter area. So my question is: How can I replace it properly with this type of water filter housing? Link below of refrigerator part. In order to change out the water filter housing and tubing, you would need to pull the unit out from installation. The water tubing will go up the back wall of the refrigerator and in through the rear wall. You would shut off the water supply and disconnect the tubing from the water valve and from the main supply line. You will then remove the screw holding the filter housing in place and pull out. Install the new one.
