The GE repairman just left my house and he thinks I need a new front outer tub (which is warn with plastic pieces coming off) and a inside tub which he thinks may be warped. My washer wobbles a lot and is rubbing somewhere when it spins. Do you think the outer front tub and inner silver tub is all I'll need? Is it worth repairing? The belt looks perfect and the back bolt is tight but the front of the tub has a lot of play.
ANSWER Hello Dave. No, the bearing are bad and you will need the front tub, inner basket, and rear tub assembly to repair the unit. If he does not replace the rear, the issue will still be there.
