What do these fuses do? Are they actual fuses or circuit breakers?
ANSWER Hi Teddy. Basically it protects the light switch circuits in both freezer and fresh food compartments. If the either of the doors are open for an extended amount of time and the Temp.(T) Overload(O)Device(D), (TOD)- temperature overload device senses the excessive temperatures they will open the circuit to protect devices in line. It will open @ 150 degrees and close at 90 degrees. There are 2-fuses in line to the transformers that feed the halogen lights in both cabinets. They are after the Sabbath switch, before the T.O.D.'s. They are shown as fuses in the wiring diagram, but physically they are circuit breakers by the transformers under the unit in a metal tray. The part # is WR23X10269. Thank you.
