I have all ready replaced the capacitor and diode for a "no heat, low buzzing sound" issue. the problem still exists. All the information I have read indicates that the transformer is the next most likely cause, the modulator should make more of a "gurgling" sound and is more durable than the parts all ready replaced. Am I on the right track? BTW, I also replaced the HV fuse...thank you for feedback!
ANSWER Hello Mitch. If you are getting a hum or buzzing noise from the microwave, you may have a bad magnetron WB27X10017. If the magnetron is bad, the unit will not heat as well. If it is good, then the transformer WB27X10605 may be the problem. Hope this helps.
