One of the large burners on my cooktop recently stopped working. The continuity checked out on the infinite switch. I'm assuming that the burner element is bad. Any tips on diagnosing/fixing the problem with the burner? Thanks

ANSWER Hello LSH. You can test the element and see if any of the ribbon elements are burnt or broke. The element should read closed for continuity across the ribbon elements. Hope this helps.
