I replaced the defrost heater and the thermostat part# wr51x10055 andwr50x10068 about 2 months ago, it seems like the problem is happening again because im seeing frost on the back wall of the freezer again. in reading some of the other letters it was mentioned that there was 3 thermostats 2 with the same part# and 1 with a different one. Also after the new parts were installed the freezer made a gurgling noise then it stopped and the frost showing up. I still can't fiind out how to ck continuity on the heater and thermostat.

ANSWER Hello TM430, For a defrosting issue and you have already changed the defrost heater and thermostat it would more than likely be the evaporator thermistor WR55X10025 and control board WR55X10942 that need to be replaced. Here is a link that will show you how to check continuity and resistance. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
