water in the drain area , where the evaporator fan is located, freezes up (including the fan blade) and then the refrigerator ( not the freezer) gets warm.....from what I read I think it's the defrost heater, it seems to be a commom problem with GE......what do you think the problem is. thank you

ANSWER Hello Jerry. Yes, the heater WR51X10027 should read closed for continuity. If it reads open, you will need to replace the heater. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
