Can you put up a video or video's showing how to check for continuity on the heating element, and also how to check all of the thermostats especially the hi limit one? Thanks
ANSWER Hello Rob,
Our staff is working day and night trying to get videos out there on all of the parts possible. We will get to that as quickly as possible. In the meantime, the test is a simple continuity test with an ohm meter. If good, when the thermostat is at room temperature, it will show an electrical contact with zero resistance. If a resistance is shown or no continuity is indicated, the part is bad and will not pass voltage to the rest of the circuit. If it indicates a high resistance, the internal contacts are burned and not making good electrical connection.
