I have a new tub, and cant get the tub nut off, the old tub. The nut wrench looks like its a spanner wrench, not a 1 5/8 nut wrench. Am I doing something wrong ?

ANSWER Hi. Use wd-40 lubricant or a freeze off type of spray. Gently rock the inner tub to help break free any rust under the nut. Then the nut to the right to loosen. This will help. The spanner wrench is part # TJ90TB123A. Use a short handle hammer or a mallet type. Be careful not to damage or scratch inner tub (enamel tub). Hub Nut Part Number: WH2X1193. Thank You.
