My dispenser will not dispense water, crushed ice, or ice cubes. When the dispenser flap is pushed to drop ice the green LED indicating ice cubes goes dim without any action or noise. My question is: would the ice dispenser solenoid be defective or is there a different problem since the water won't work either.

ANSWER Hello Lance. It sounds like the main board assembly WR55X10942 is bad. Hope this helps.
