I am getting an ice build up in the upper portion of the freezer. The ceiling of the freezer is getting frozen water drops. The ice chute and ice cube bucket are iced up. The rear of motor that operates the auger is frozen with ice. I have to remove everything in the upper portion of the freezer every month or so to remove the ice from the assemblies. Is this an ice chute problem or a door seal problem?
You can check to see if there are any gaps in the door seal which would create the moisture issue. Also check the ice door by shining a light in the chute and looking up into the dispenser to see if any light can be seen. If light can be seen then the ice door is fault and need to be replaced.
