Hi...my ice maker started producing very little ice, when it did produce it seemed to be clear in color instead of white-ish clear like it usually was..we cannot even get the bin door to come out though to check the problem...it will not budge...I have searched and searched the web to see if anyone else has had this particular problem...cannot find a thing...please help!!! The ice also taste funny, the filter was changed 2 months ago...
To remove the ice bin, you will want to push the button on the side and may have to pry the bin out to remove. You will then want to see if there is ice that has melted and refroze that caused the bin to be difficult to come out. You will also want to check to make sure that the water line coming to the icemaker is not frozen or that the fill cup is not frozen.
