I have the GFSL6KKX-BLS GE Fridge and I am having issues with the ICE maker. It appears that it fills with water fairly quickly after dumping ice to the tray. Problem is that it will only dump Ice randomly and most of the time the tray is empty. by randomly I am talking about maybe 1 time a week! I assume it may be a faulty Ice Maker Assembly (AP4321616) but I would not know how to rule out things like the Auger motor etc. Any trouble shooting tips to narrow it down?
ANSWER Hello Tracy. If the icemaker is not cycling properly and not dumping all the ice, it sounds like the icemaker assembly WR30X10097 is the issue with the unit. You need to make sure the freezer is around 0° also.
