I have a GE Profile gas cooktop, I need to replace the ignitor on one of the burners. Need to know the installation steps to accomplish this. Do I need to take the glass cooktop off? - not sure how I would do this if is is adhered to the countertop with caulk or some other sealant. Thanks very much for your help....Paul
ANSWER Hello Paul,
You will want to remove the burner bowls to be able to remove the ignitor. The unit does not have to be pulled from installation.
