Hotpoint Dishwasher will not drain, the wash cycle seems to be working correctly,(water goes in the unit),& I can hear the water spraying inside, but when it comes time to drain, unit will not pump out the water. The solenoid arm is working up,& down,I took the impeller assembly apart, & didn't notice any wear patterns.Would an impeller repair kit possibly resolve the problem?
*I have a clear piece of hose spliced into the drain hose,& when the unit is trying to drain, I can see the water fluctuate back, & forth approximately 1/4"
ANSWER Hello Danny. No, if the impeller did not look bad, and the solenoid is working, replace the motor assembly on the unit.
