How do I remove the old inlet sump? After removing is there any thing used to clean the surface where the the new inlet sump fits into the washer cabinet lining. Is there any thing used to lubricate the new inlet sump while installing it, Or is it installed dry? Thanks. Dale.
ANSWER Hi Dale. You will use rubbing alcohol to clean surfaces. You can either use white lithium grease part # is GE281, or WD-40 to lightly coat surfaces upon installation. Work it in from both inside and outside of the tub. Thank you.
