I need to install the new Dishwasher Inner Rail Upper (WD30X10039) I purchased. How do I get the old one off? Removing the end cap doesn't do anything. The other end cap at the end of the rail on the inside seems like it would help if removed but it won't come off. I can't find any way to remove it since to come off it has to be pushed out towards the wall of the dishwasher and there is no space. The other question you answered provides a link to a part and directions for a different rail which doesn't seem to help. Are there any pictures/directions on how to get the rail off?
ANSWER Hello George. Pull the upper rack out and remove from the unit. Once removed, you can slide the rail forward and remove the back stop to remove and replace the rail in the unit.
