Bought profile arctica fridge new from sears outlet (scratch &dents etc) in 2006. Fridge uses main board # wr55x10383 and quit cooling. Tested and no power going to compressor so I needed new board. Fridge has large yellow sticker that states "use only main board specified for use with variable speed compressor. Replace with wr55x10156 " . My fridge model # is psf26pgsabb. Sears states replacement board is wr49x10152.
Thinking that the outlet store changed something on the fridge for resale, I thought I would purchase the same board that is currently installed as I know that one has worked for years (wr55x10383). As that specific board isn't available I purchased its replacement # wr55x10560.
When this board was installed it just flashes 000 & 000 on the digital display for fridge and freezer. It also can not enter into diagnostic mode ( by holding down the fridge / freezer buttons simultaneously), and just continues to flash 000 , 000 . Also I still can not get voltage to compressor.
I wondered as this is a replacement for many boards including my original 383, is there jumper settings etc that need to be setup?
You will want to use the recommended manufacturers replacement board of WR49X10152. There are no jumper settings due to the board that you installed is not the one for your unit.
