My refrigerator keeps freezing my vegetables and drinks. It's on the lowest setting but the temperature doesnt seem to change. Thermostat, damper or other ? Thanks
ANSWER Hi Gary. If the temperature L.E.D's change exactly per command then your chances are that the interface control board is working correct. First use a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Get to the main control board part # WR55X10942 and find the connector. J1 1 Blue/Red Fresh food thermistor #1, J1 pin 1 to pin 5 = 2.8 to 3.5 VDC. J1- 2 Yellow Fresh food thermistor #2 -J1 pin 2 to pin 5 = 2.8 to 3.5 VDC The fresh food sensor part WR55X10025 at the regular temperature of 41° should read 12,700-ohms. 5,000 ohms at normal room 77°. If it reads normal then replace the damper part # WR49X10091. Thank You.
