Our microwave works normally, except it doesn't heat. What parts should we be looking at?
ANSWER Hello Win. You will need to check the magnetron, diode, and the HV transformer. The diode should only read 1 direction. The magnetron should test less than 1 ohm and have no cracks in the magnets. If all is good, replace the transformer. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
