The freezer temp was not stable, first too cold (-10) then normal (0) and the water dispenser began to freeze. I turned down the temp control to the lowest setting and it made no difference. I replaced both thermosters in the freezer however it appears those were not the problem. Is it time to change out the main control board? and if so can it be done without too much tearing apart. Thanks
Check to make sure that the temps in the refrigerator are between 36 and 42 degrees. If the temps in the refrigerator section are good then the control board would most likely be at fault. To replace control board you would need to pull the unit out and remove the cover over the board. Disconnect power and take old board out and install new board.
