Our 8 year old machine, suddenly started emitting a constant high pitched noise similar to faulty PC motherboard. Nothing works, no lights illuminate and turning off the breaker for 30 seconds plus does not rectify the problem. Do I need to replace the module control?
You will want to do a voltage check to the control board. If the control board is getting 120vac and there is no display then check to make sure that the ribbon harness is fully seated. If all checks ok then the control board is more than likely faulty and needs to be replaced.
