I replaced motor and blower wheel with this part and hand tightened the new blower wheel on the motor shaft but when motor is re-attached the wheel rubs the front of the casing. Should I use pliers to tightened blower wheel further on shaft? I am worried wheel will crack.
ANSWER Hello Alison. The wheel does need to be tight, but you also need to make sure the motor WE17M42 is seated properly on the unit as well. Otherwise, the wheel will rub the housing.
