My dryer has gotten louder lately. Not squeaking, just louder. I have replaced the sliders and bearings. Is it a safe assumption that the only thing left that could be causing the dryer to be louder is the motor itself? If I take the drum out and let the motor spin without load, it is not loud.
ANSWER Hello Joshua. Yes, if the bearings and slides are new, it could be the motor causing the noise.
