I have a ge stove the oven isn't heating up to the temp the knob is set at. For instance I set the oven to 400 and it was only heating to about 275. Could you tell me if it's heating element or some other fixes thank you

ANSWER Hello Rick,
You may want to check the ohm reading on the oven sensor. The ohm reading should be 1100 ohms at room temperature. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
