The oven is approximately 3 years old. In the last few weeks I have noticed and extremely slow preheat time (up to 30 minutes for 350 degrees). This was never the case when it was new. I've researched quite a bit and am leaning towards the igniter needing to be replaced. Also, in the beginning of the slow heat process there is a faint gas smell that seems to go away. Not sure if that helps diagnose or not...

ANSWER Aaron, You're on target, a weak igniter could, and usually does create all the issues you're describing. If you have access to a clamp on ammeter you could check for 3.2 to 3.6 amp draw on the igniter wires. With a multimeter you should produce 3.2 to 3.6 VAC at the safety valve, when the glow bar igniter is on. Good Luck and Thanks
