Ordered the oven/broiler igniter from you WB2X9154. Replaced old igniter with the new one. When I turned the oven on and the oven lit it made a loud "boom" and blew the oven door open, then it closed again. What could be causing this? I didn't really run the oven long enough to find out if it was heating properly.
ANSWER Hello Lisa. It sounds like the igniter is not close enough to the burner to ignite the gas fast enough. Or the valve is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. I would make sure the igniter is right by the burner first and the bracket is not bent.
