I have a wall mount GE oven, model number JKP14W0V1WW with a fault code F2. What sensor do I need?
ANSWER Hello Tim,
On the F2 error code it can mean 1 of 2 things depending on the conditions. If the unit was in use and actually had an overtemp condition then you would want to look for welded contacts on the bake or broil relays on the clock assembly. If there are burnt contacts then replace control board. If there was not an over temperature that occurred then check the resistance of the oven sensor. The sensor should read 1100 ohms at room temperature. Check the wiring from the sensor to the clock to make sure that the wiring is not damaged. If the Sensor does not have proper reading then replace oven sensor [AP2023670}
