Washer fills properly on both the wash and rinse cycles. However, on both cycles the water slowly drains and the tub needs to be refilled by using the water level reset. If the machine is turned off (eliminating the operating sound) when water is in the tub, you can hear the water trickling out through the discharge hose. Obviously the drain valve is leaking.
What part(s) need to be replaced? Are there any surprises I can expect to run into when changing this part?
Thank you for your help; it is greatly appreciated.
ANSWER Hello Chuck. You need to check and see if the drain hose is to far into the drain stand pipe. If so, it will cause the issue you are having with the unit.
