I Just got a new spay arm WD22X154... How do I open or separate the GE Pump Connect(Part No.: AP2039426), for me put new spray arm in. Does the top piece of the pump connect unscrew? snap off? I would appreciate an answer please, thanks Robert.

ANSWER Hello Robert. There is no need to remove the pump connect to replace the spray arm WD22X154. The base of the spray arm unscrews from the assembly. Use a screw driver to use as a pry bar. Insert it in the square opening under the spray arm assembly to unscrew. It should turn counterclockwise.
