the glide strips in the front of the dryer seem to wear out really fast.
is there another problem that I should look for that would cause them to be wearing out faster then normal? would it have anything to do with the wool strip around the bottom? it looks normal.
ANSWER Doug, Make sure the dryer is level, side to side and front to back, maybe even a bit higher in the front(1/8 to 1/4 inch). You'll need to remove the drum and check the rear drum bearing assembly WE25M40 for excessive wear. Check to insure the glides are in the proper position, green glides at the 11 and 1 o'clock position and the white glides are at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. And don't overload the dryer(never more than 1/2 full with wet clothes). Good Luck and Thanks
