About 1 1/2 years ago, we replaced the bearing due to very loud squeaking when dryer running. The sqeaking never went away completely, but was tolerable. Now, the sqeaking is so loud that we can't run the dryer. We bought the bearing kit from Appliance Parts Pros and wonder if it might be something else and not the bearing. We also replaced the belt at the same time.

ANSWER Hello Jody. While I had the unit apart I would also replace the glides, (2 green WE1M1067and 2 white WE1M504) and idler pulley WE12X83. Have a great day!
