Hi, I have a GE gas dryer that was in a flash flood. I changed the coils, flame sensor, cleaned all of the wire ends. Do I need to lude the drum bearing sleeve? I checked the motor and it runs.

ANSWER Hello Joe,
The rear bearing does require lubrication TJ17-132. While you're in there, I would probably dry lube the glides in the front of the drum. Do this with either baby powder or corn starch. Do not use a wet lubricant on the front of the drum as it can come in contact with fabrics and material which will become stained.
