It was working fine and suddenly quit dispensing water in the door. Is this from a bad water filter or some other fault? I have an in-line filter located behind the refrigerator. It looks nothing like the ones in this section. Please help.

ANSWER Hello Edwin, The water filter that should go in refrigerator section is MWFP. You may want to check to see if you are getting water at bottom of door. Remove kick plate and there is a water line with a fitting on it. It may be a compression fitting in which you would push in on one side and pull on the water line on the same side. After releasing the water line push the dispenser lever to see if water comes out. If water comes out then you have a frozen water line in the freezer door. There is a heater kit WR49X10173 that you can get to correct this. Keep in mind it will take a couple of days to thaw after installing kit.
