The dryer does not stop itself unless we open the door or unplug the power. Other than that it works fine (dry the cloth). I am thinking the timer unit is broken. Is that right? Do you have the part number and cost for this time unit? Thanks.
ANSWER Hello Chuck. If there is power to the timer motor, and the timer does not advance to off, you will need to replace the timer on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
