I have a GE Profile Cooktop that started continuously sparking/clicking every 40 seconds. All four burners are sparking when the knobs are in off or on position. The only way to stop the clicking is to turn off the electricity to the stove top.
Should I replace the Spark Module or the Switches? Or something else?
ANSWER Hello John. You will need to replace one of the spark switches WB24T10071 that is bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
