After a year of matches and reading the questions about constant sparking, allow me add this to the list of questions before replacing numerous parts that are not bad. I too lean towards the spark module, This is why... All four burners constantly spark. I have had to unplug the unit to make it stop. I removed both burner units completely off the cooktop and when I plug it in all I hear is a constant clicking in the area of the spark module. your thoughts please. thanks

ANSWER Hello Phil,
What you would need to do is to check the ignition switches to make sure that they are good. To check them turn off gas to unit and access the switches. With the switches in the off position check each one for continuity. If there is continuity then you would need to replace the switch. If no continuity through any of the switches then you will want to check wiring for damage that would complete circuit. If this checks ok then replace spark module. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
