I'm trying to replace the spray arm assembly (AP2039850) on my GE Profile dishwasher. I was able to get the spray arm off the hub (breaking the two tabs off the hub in the process), but I don't know how to remove the hub. From the looks of the new hub, the old one should just unscrew, but it only moves back and forth about a quarter inch. Is there something holding it in place, or is it just crud buildup? What should I do next to get the hub off?
ANSWER Hi Lizy. The Spray arm assy. Part # WD22X10008 should just unscrew from the sump assy. It must be held up by crud or possibly cross threaded in the first place. Thank you.
