In the answer above, the instructions are to unscrew it. I have tried it counter clock wise but the base just turns and nothing unscrews. Do I somehow stop whatever the base is screwed into from turning? I need specific instructions to unscrew the lower arm. as I look at it from below I can see a residue path where it is leaking from the center hole of the base. I figure the seal is bad. Just can't get the lower arm out from inside.

To remove the lower wash arm, you will need to insert a screw driver into the tabs under the spray arm, and unscrew the lower spray arm assembly. These are right handed threads. Reinstall in reverse order.
