I need the door stop, however the screws that attach it to the door are not a straight or phillips. They look like a star or allan type screwhead. Is there a specific tool needed to remove the screws? My doorstop actually is made of metal and cracked off the part of the piece that stops the door. Can the stop be replaced without removing the whole door? It would be great if there were a specific allen type tool to do this.
ANSWER Hello Mary. If it is a star, you will need to use a torx bit to remove the screws.
