I am the same person who asked the question about removing the cover. I do not have three screws on my ice maker, as per your instructions. I believe that GE changed the ice maker on this refrigerator. Mine is five years old. When I first ordered the stripper I got a part that did not fit and customer service told me that GE had changed parts. When I open my freezer and look at the ice maker all I see is a solid white piece of plastic. No screws at all. It seems as if it could be pried off but I do not want to force it. PLEASE HELP!! Thank you.
ANSWER Hello Harriet. If there is no screws, you can unsnap the cover from the unit then.
