my broiler workes fine but my oven will not come on.Ihave changed the igniter and check for continuity at the electric gas valve.when i press the oven button on the control panel and set the temp on 350 it blinks and goes back to 100. Please help. Thanks

ANSWER Ken, Since you have a multimeter, when the glow bar igniter is glowing, check for 3.2 to 3.6 VAC across the wires on the gas valve bake terminals. Anything lower than 3.2 VAC will not open the gas valve for ignition and burn. Also disconnect the wires at the new igniter, attach the meter leads to the wires from the chassis and turn on the oven, you should read 120 VAC across the two wires from the control, that will verify if you have a control relay issue or damaged wire. Good Luck and Thanks
