Washer runs through wash and rinse cycles fine but when it goes into final spin it starts to spin momentarily and goes back into rinse mode. It does not refill however and will not spin out the clothes. After resetting to spin only, it will spin dry. I've checked out the pressure switch by removing one end of the hose during spin cycle which causes it to return to rinse cycle. What is the proper way to check the pressure switch? Does this sound like a timer control problem?

ANSWER Gene, The proper way to test the pressure switch is by activating each contact on the swith to ensure that it is reading continuity when activated. The issue sounds like it may be the pressure switch that is causing problem.
